Thomas Orchards is a family owned and operated, certified organic farm. From the planting, picking and packaging of our braeburn, gala, and golden delicious apples, we oversee every aspect. From our dried fruit and jams, to our incredible cherries that end up on your table, you will love all of our fresh fruits that we grow in Kimberly Oregon!

We take great pride in our cultural practices designed to assure the freshest and the highest quality fruit. We grow cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, pears, and apples. Harvest begins mid to late June with bing, rainier, and lambert sweet cherries. Harvest for peaches, pears, and nectarines follow in the middle of august. We end our harvest with apples throughout the fall.

Our Story

Our family orchard has existed in Kimberly, Oregon since the early 1900’s. The Thomas family has farmed the land since 1947 when W.B. Thomas purchased a portion of the orchard from Mr. Kimberly. We are proud to say the 3rd generation of Thomas’ are currently managing the orchard, and two members of the 4th generation are being raised on our beautiful land.

A visit to our family orchard is an unforgettable experience for your whole group. With breath taking views of the John Day River and the Blue Mountains, you will feel right at home on our peaceful countryside. About Our Farm

We grow a variety of fruits here at Kimberly Fruit Company. All of our fruit is picked fresh and transferred to our cooler where it’s stored at 34 degrees. Our fruits include cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, pears, and apples. Along with fresh fruit, we also produce dried fruits, jams, spreads, syrups, and applesauce. All of our products are available at our fruit stand located on the property. You are welcome to come and purchase the fruit we have picked and packed or you can come and pick your own! The fruit stand is open daily during harvest season.
